So here is what this is about:
Beginning last September 2015, I undertook walking the northern route of the Camino Del Norte. The first 23 posts are from September 2015 when I walked about 100 km from Irun to Bilbao with dear friends Jim and Pam Runyon with whom I have shared travel and adventure but mostly just lots of life over 30 years. This year (2016) I have met them about where I left off last year with the intent of finishing the Camino (I for the first time, they for the second. You'll get to meet them soon.
In early Septemver 2015 we met in Irun, Spain which is the beginning point for the Camino Del Norte, on the northern coast of Spain and at the French border. It is literally directly across a short walking bridge from the French town Hendaye. As soon as the Runyons arrived that first afternoon, we decided we would walk across the bridge over to France. That was a great afternoon of fun.
